Job Description

Lead daily fleet operations and oversee transportation activities across all service divisions. Manage driver coordination, equipment utilization, and operational efficiency while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

Oversee daily fleet operations and driver dispatch activities
Monitor equipment utilization and optimize asset deployment
Coordinate with dispatch, maintenance, and safety departments
Analyze operational metrics and implement performance improvements
Manage driver schedules, assignments, and compliance with HOS regulations
Ensure on-time delivery performance across all service lines
Handle escalated customer issues and service recovery
Develop and implement operational policies and procedures
Conduct regular meetings with drivers and operations staff

Qualifications:

5+ years transportation or logistics management experience
Proven leadership and team management skills
Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and FMCSA compliance
Experience with fleet management software and TMS platforms
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Bachelor’s degree in logistics, business, or related field preferred
Ability to work in fast-paced, demanding environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
